We at the Hispanic Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce want to wish the community and our partners a very happy holiday and a happy New Year. 2018 has been a year of significant accomplishments as we carry out our mission to economically empower Latino family businesses and entrepreneurs, and we thank all of you for your support and encouragement. We are especially grateful to our staff, who put in so much time and effort to provide this assistance.
This is also a time of leadership transition for the Chamber. I am very pleased to announce that Gale Castillo, one of the founders of the Hispanic Chamber, has returned as Interim Executive Director while we prepare to search for a permanent leader later in 2019. She has an intimate knowledge of Chamber operations, programs, history and outstanding relationships with our partners and the community. She has already started in this role and will be reaching out to you in the very near future. Her leadership skills and ability to start immediately means that the Chamber will continue to meet all of it program deliverables and accountabilities as planned.
2019 will be an exciting year for the Chamber as we look for ways to expand service to Latino families and small businesses. We hope you’ll join us in this effort to make our community more inclusive and equitable for everyone.
